According to Volume Two of the "General History of the Qing Dynasty," in the year 1640, "Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong black tea was first transported to England by the Dutch," and it has a history of over 400 years. It is the earliest black tea in the world and is also known as the progenitor of black tea. It was created by local tea farmers in the deep mountains of Wuyi in Fujian during the mid to late Ming Dynasty.
