Appearance:

The buds are thick, sturdy, and full-bodied.
The leaves are broad, tender, and a grayish-green color.
The leaves are interspersed with silvery-white down, creating a "wrapped heart" shape.
The underside of the leaves is covered in a delicate, pure white fuzz.
Aroma and Flavor:

The fragrance is fresh, delicate, and long-lasting after infusion.
The taste is clean, mellow, and subtly sweet.
Liquor:

The brewed tea liquor is a bright, apricot-yellow or clear, orange-yellow color.
Leaf Quality:

The tea leaves are tender, even, and intact after brewing.
The leaf veins have a reddish hue contrasting against the green leaves, giving it an "elegantly wrapped" appearance.
White Peony Tea Origins:

There are several varietals, including Zhenghe Da Bai Cha, Fuding Da Bai Cha, and Shou Xian Bai Cha.
